The "Arlberg Freeride Guide" does not only teach the right skiing technique, but can also give our guests a well-founded overview of the history of the Arlberg. Furthermore, he knows his way around the gastronomical area and can also respond to the culinary wishes of the guests. We work very closely with the mountain rescue and the Arlberg mountain railways in order to be able to guarantee a fast and smooth process in the event of an emergency. 

Due to the local training our "Arlberg Freeride Guide" knows the terrain very well. This means that our guides are not only able to assess the avalanche situation, but also know where good snow still lies and where so-called "secret runs" are.

This information, which is essential for the assessment of the current avalanche situation, is exchanged in regular guide meetings and thus the maximum safety of our guests is guaranteed.

Since safety comes first, our guests are also equipped with an ABS avalanche backpack in addition to the classic emergency equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe). For our guides and guests there is also a helmet obligation!

The "Arlberg Freeride Guide" is also a good contact when it comes to the right ski equipment or mountain clothing - due to the close cooperation with the local sports dealers he is always up to date with the latest fashion and technology.

Course contents: Technique and tactics, improvement of your own skills, snow and avalanche knowledge, risk management, material knowledge, video analysis.
